On 17 April 2009, the Bank received a letter from Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne PZU S.A. representing Otwarty Fundusz Emerytalny PZU “Złota Jesień” (PZU “Złota Jesień” Open Pension Fund), containing a statement that, acting on behalf of the shareholder PKO BP S.A., it intends to put forward Dr. Cezary Banasiński as a candidate in the elections of Supervisory Board members to be held on 20 April 2009, as a continuation of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of PKO BP S.A. convened for 6 April 2009. In the opinion of PTE PZU S.A., the candidate’s career ensures that he will perform the function of Supervisory Board member properly. Dr. Cezary Banasiński’s CV is enclosed.
