On August 31, 2009 the Extraordinary General Meeting of PKO Bank Polski adopted, among others, a resolution setting the record date for pre-emptive rights in the new issue of shares at 6 October 2009.

The Bank announces that on 2 July 2009 it received a request from the State Treasury represented by the Minister of the State Treasury – under the procedure of Article 400 § 1 of the Commercial Companies Code – to call an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of the Bank (“EGM”) as soon as possible.

On 17 April 2009, the Bank received a letter from the Treasury Ministry which contains information on candidates as members of the Supervisory Board of PKO BP S.A
