He was the founder, co-owner, and CEO of Shumee SA (a commerce platform) – one of the cross-border e-commerce market leaders.
Member of supervisory boards with many years of experience in the area of professional corporate governance standards. An expert in banking, e-commerce, and start-up incubation and acceleration, he is also the author of numerous publications on the e-commerce market and marketplace platforms. He graduated in International Economic and Political Relations from the University of Lodz and completed the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD in Fontainebleau. He also completed the Executive MBA Programme at the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz, organised in cooperation with Towson University and the Robert H. Smith School of Business.
For more than eight years, until June 2016, he was the President and Vice-President of the Management Board of Bank Pocztowy. During this time, the bank gained around one million clients and transformed from a settlement institution into a mass retail bank, launching, among other things, a modern online banking system and a network of around 300 branches.
Prior to that, he was associated with mBank for seven years, managing areas including marketing, online sales, and business development.
He is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Polish Payment Standard (PSP). and a Member of the Supervisory Board of National Clearing House (KIR).
In his personal life, he is a long-distance runner, a music enthusiast, and a happy father of four daughters.
