Legal grounds: Paragraph 34.1 of the Ordinance of the Minister of Finance dated 19 October 2005 on current and periodical information provided by issuers of securities. The report: The Management Board of Powszechna Kasa Oszczędności Bank Polski SA (the „Bank”) notifies that 19 October 2006, an application was filed to the National Securities Deposit (the “KDPW”) to assimilate, on 6 November 2006, common bearer shares recorded at KDPW under PLPKO0000032, in the amount of 105,000,000 with common bearer shares recorded at KDPW under PLPKO0000016, in the amount of 385,000,000. Also on 19 October 2006, an application was filed to the Warsaw Stock Exchange (the GPW) to float at the GPW, in consequence of the assimilation at KDPW, through regular proceeding, on the official market, 105,000,000 shares recorded under code PLPKO0000016. The planned date for the assimilation and floating of the 105,000,000 shares is November 6, 2006.
