Legal grounds: Paragraph 5.1.9. of the Ordinance of the Minister of Finance on current and periodical information provided by issuers of securities dated 19 October 2005 The report: The Management Board of PKO BP SA hereby informs that on 17.08.2006 was informed that on 14.08.2006 Bank acquired series XVI shares of KREDOBANK SA with its seat in Lwów. The registration of the share capital increase was on 14.08.2006 as a consequence of the fact that the National Bank of Ukraine issued the permission to register XVI share issue of KREDOBANK SA. Bank acquired 5,428,764,911 shares in KREDOBANK SA capital with nominal value of UAH 0.01 each (PLN 0.006054), having a total nominal value of 54,287,649.11 UAH (PLN 32,865,742.77). After mentioned above registration the capital of KREDOBANK SA amounts to 219,299,469.16 UAH (PLN 132,763,898.63) and is divided into 21,929,946,916 shares, with nominal value of UAH 0.01. Overall number of votes under all issued shares is 21,929,946,916. Bank owns 15,336,240,937 shares of KREDOBANK SA, constituting 69.933% of the capital and entitling to 69.933% of votes at the General Meeting of Shareholders of KREDOBANK SA.
