The Management Board of PKO BP SA hereby informs that in an unofficial English translation of Polish current report no. 16/2004 in the first sentence of the translation and in the listed clauses of the translation i.e. Clause 1 of Chapter III of the Prospectus, Clause 2.3.1 of Chapter III of the Prospectus and Clause 3.1 of Chapter III of the Prospectus some wrong numbers were shown.

In connection with the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 2nd November, 2004 to increase the total number of the Offered Shares from 300,000,000 to 385,000,000 shares

The Management Board of PKO BP SA hereby announces that on 21 October 2004, an underwriting agreement relating to 105,000,000 shares of PKO BP SA offered in the International Institutional Investor Tranche by way of a public offering was executed between Credit Suisse First Boston (Europe) Limited, HSBC Bank plc and ING Bank N.V., Credit Suisse First Boston Sp. z o.o., BGŻ S.A., the Bank and the State Treasury.
